Questions

MIAMI SWIM WEEK FAQ

Miami Swim Week features 5 runway shows over 2 days in Miami Beach. Each show features multiple designers presenting swim, resort, and ready-to-wear collections. Between shows, you'll network in the VIP lounge, explore exhibitor areas, and create content. The atmosphere is electric — a mix of fashion professionals, content creators, and passionate fashion lovers. See the full Miami Swim Week schedule.
There's no formal dress code. Miami Swim Week has a resort-casual energy — think elevated beachwear to editorial. Wear what makes you feel confident. You'll see everything from designer pieces to bold resort wear to all-white outfits. May in Miami means 85°F+ with humidity, so light fabrics and breathable layers are your best bet. See our full What to Wear to Miami Swim Week guide.
It depends on your ticket. Single Show tickets get you into one show. Day Passes include all shows on your selected day (2 shows on Friday, 3 on Saturday). Weekend Passes cover all 5 shows across both days. For first-timers, a Saturday Day Pass is popular since it has 3 shows and the most runway time.
The venue is in Miami Beach. We recommend Uber/Lyft or hotel valet for the easiest experience. Miami International Airport (MIA) is about 30 minutes away, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) is about 45 minutes. Most attendees stay at nearby Miami Beach hotels and take a short rideshare to the venue.
Tickets are only available online, not at the door. VIP and Room 16 experiences have limited capacity and often sell out before the event. We strongly recommend purchasing in advance — prices also increase as the event approaches, so early buyers get the best rates.
GA includes access to all shows on your selected day with seating in rows 5-7 or standing room. VIP upgrades you to rows 2-4, adds VIP lounge access with complimentary refreshments, priority entry, and designer meet-and-greets. Room 16 VIP is our premium tier: rows 2-3, private lounge with all-day open bar, dedicated concierge, and only 75 guests per day.
Yes. The venue is ADA accessible with wheelchair-friendly seating and accessible restrooms. If you need specific accommodations, please contact our team at info@thebureaufashionweek.com in advance so we can ensure the best experience for you.

MIAMI SWIM WEEK DRESS CODE: WHAT TO WEAR

There's no formal dress code. Here's what actually matters.

The Only Rule

Wear what makes you feel confident. That's it. Miami Swim Week has a resort-casual energy — think elevated beachwear to editorial. The common thread is intentionality.

WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WEAR

  • Statement pieces that spark conversation
  • Resort wear with an editorial twist — linen sets, bold prints
  • All-white Miami looks (always works)
  • Bold colors, tropical prints, and statement accessories
  • Elevated swim-adjacent looks styled for the runway

PRACTICAL TIPS

  • Comfortable shoes matter. You'll be standing and walking between areas.
  • May in Miami is hot. 85°F+ with humidity. Light fabrics and breathable layers are essential.
  • SPF is non-negotiable. Miami sun is intense, especially for outdoor moments.
  • Small bag recommended. Space between seats is limited.

WHAT TO BRING: FIRST-TIMER CHECKLIST

  • Valid ID — required for entry and bar access
  • Phone + portable charger — you'll be taking photos and videos all day
  • SPF + sunglasses — Miami sun is no joke, even in the late afternoon
  • Small crossbody bag — limited space between seats; leave the tote at the hotel
  • Comfortable shoes — you'll walk more than you think between areas and shows
  • Business cards or Instagram handle — networking happens organically
First-timer anxiety is normal. Everyone wonders what to wear. Once you're there, you'll see the range is wider than you expected. Miami has a fun, relaxed resort energy — come as yourself.
