What is NYFW Front Row VIP?

Front Row VIP is the first row at every show — the seat in every runway photograph, with champagne served to you before the models walk. You are assigned a specific seat in row 1, approximately 3 feet from the runway, with priority entry included. This is not a general admission upgrade. It is one specific, assigned position — the one you see in every fashion week image. Available from $225 per show. Early Bird pricing ends June 30.

"I didn't realize how close the front row actually is until I was sitting there. The models are right in front of you. The champagne, the photographers shooting past you, the energy in that first row — I've been to a lot of events. Nothing is like this."

Front Row VIP Guest — The Bureau Fashion Week

"We did the Saturday night show for a birthday. Front row VIP. I still have the runway photos on my phone — you can see us in the background of half of them. Worth every dollar and we're already planning to come back."

The Experience

What Front Row VIP Includes

Every Front Row VIP ticket — regardless of which show you choose — includes the same core experience. You are not buying a better view. You are buying a specific seat and a specific moment.

First Row Seating

Your assigned seat is in row 1 — approximately 3 feet from the edge of the runway. Models walk directly in front of you. This is not "close to the front." This is the front.

Champagne Service

Complimentary champagne is served at your seat before and during the show. Reserved and GA attendees do not receive champagne service.

Priority Entry

VIP ticket holders enter through a dedicated priority entrance before General Admission doors open. You are seated and settled before the crowd arrives.

You'll Be in Every Photo

Runway photographers position at the end of the catwalk and shoot back toward the crowd — meaning the first row is always in frame. Your seat is, by design, in every show's official photography. That's not incidental. It's the front row.

Assigned Seat

Your seat is assigned and held. Unlike General Admission (open floor) or Reserved (rows 2–7), Front Row VIP guarantees your specific seat with no rushing or jockeying for position.

Best Seat for Your Content

Eye level with the models, 3 feet away, as each look passes in front of you. Phone out or not — the front row is the optimal position for runway video and photography. Every look is captured up close, unobstructed, from the only row that matters.

Questions

VIP FAQ

Front Row VIP includes a first-row assigned seat approximately 3 feet from the runway, complimentary champagne service, and priority entry. You are seated in the professional photography sightline for the duration of the show. Every VIP show also supports Afterpay at no additional charge.
Front Row VIP at NYFW September 2026 starts at $225 (Sunday 12pm matinee) and reaches $650 for the largest shows (Saturday 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30pm). Pricing is set per show and reflects the designer count and demand. Early Bird pricing ends June 30, 2026 — after which all VIP prices rise by $30.
Reserved Seating ($145) places you in rows 2 through 7 with an assigned seat — no champagne, no priority entry. Front Row VIP places you in the first row with complimentary champagne and priority entry. The distance from the runway is approximately 3 feet (VIP) versus 8–25 feet (Reserved). If the seat matters, choose VIP. If being seated and not standing matters, Reserved is the minimum tier with that guarantee.
Room 16 is the top tier at The Bureau's New York Fashion Week. It includes everything in Front Row VIP (front row seat, champagne, priority entry) plus exclusive backstage access before and after shows, a private Room 16 lounge separate from general VIP areas, and access to private Room 16 events throughout the week. Room 16 Day Passes start at $895 (Thursday) and Full Event access is $3,895 for all 13 shows.
Champagne is included with every Front Row VIP ticket — it is not an add-on and there is no additional charge. You will be served at your first-row seat before and during the show. General Admission and Reserved Seating do not include champagne service.
Yes. Afterpay is available for all ticket purchases including VIP. Your ticket is split into 4 equal, interest-free payments. Examples: $225 VIP = $56.25/payment; $295 VIP = $73.75/payment; $475 VIP = $118.75/payment; $650 VIP = $162.50/payment. Select Afterpay at the checkout page — no application required.
The Sunday 12pm matinee ($225) and Sunday 2:30pm show ($245) are the lowest-priced entry points to Front Row VIP. Both offer the identical first-row experience — same seat position, same champagne, same priority entry — at the lowest price in the schedule. If you want the complete first-time experience without maximizing spend, start with Sunday.
Not automatically. The Friday September 11 after party at Gotham Hall is included with Weekend Passes. If you hold a single show VIP ticket or a day pass, after party entry requires a separate ticket. After party tickets start at $139.95 (GA) and go up to $750 for Room 16 Ultra. See the after party page for full details.
There is no formally enforced dress code, but the front row is fashion week — editorial, creative, and intentional outfits are the norm. You are seated directly in the professional photography frame for the duration of the show, so most Front Row VIP attendees dress accordingly. Smart casual is the floor; the front row skews fashion-forward and dressed up.
Arrive 20–30 minutes before showtime. VIP priority entry opens before General Admission, so you will be seated and settled — champagne in hand — before the crowd arrives. Your assigned seat is held and will not be given away, so there is no pressure to rush, but arriving early makes the experience significantly better.
Yes — personal photography and video are welcome from the front row. Phones and personal cameras are both fine. Professional photographers with large rigs are positioned at the end of the runway; Front Row VIP guests shoot from their seats. The front row is the best position in the venue for personal runway photography, and many guests share content during and after the show.
Tickets are non-refundable. Free transfers are available — you can reassign your ticket to any name at no charge and with no deadline. Optional ticket protection is available as an add-on at checkout and covers most cancellation scenarios. If The Bureau cancels or significantly reschedules a show, affected tickets will be refunded or exchanged. We recommend adding ticket protection at checkout if your plans may change.
