The Bureau’s NYFW September 2026 shows (Friday–Sunday, Sep 11–13) are held at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, New York, NY 10018 — a landmarked 1924 Beaux-Arts ballroom in the Herald Square neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan. These shows are open to the public. No industry credentials, no connections required — just a ticket. (Who can attend?) Herald Square station is steps from the entrance, served by eight subway lines.

Gotham Hall stands at Broadway and 36th Street — one block north of Macy’s, which means you’ll know the neighborhood the moment you step out. Herald Square station is directly across the street. Eight subway lines stop here. There is no easier venue in Manhattan to reach.

Transit & Directions
Herald Square has eight subway lines and sits two blocks from Penn Station. No car required — and during show hours, no car wanted either.
Herald Square Station
Steps from Gotham Hall entrance. Direct access from all five boroughs and NJ Transit connections.
Penn Station (34th St)
Exit 7th Ave side, walk north 2 blocks on Broadway. Also NJ Transit and Long Island Rail Road terminus.
NJ Transit / LIRR
Penn Station is a 5-min walk. NJ Transit serves the metro area from NJ; LIRR connects Long Island. Both terminate at Penn.
Uber, Lyft, Yellow Cab
Drop off on 36th St or 37th St. Traffic on Broadway can be slow — allow extra time for post-show pickup.

Parking Near Gotham Hall
If you’re driving into Midtown for a show, plan ahead — show days mean slower traffic and faster-filling garages.

Gotham Hall
Gotham Hall opened in 1924 as the Greenwich Savings Bank — York & Sawyer’s Beaux-Arts masterpiece in marble, gilded bronze, and soaring arched stone. The bank closed in 1982. The building did not. It became what it was always quietly meant to be: a stage.
Walk through the entrance on show night and the scale hits you immediately. The 65-foot domed rotunda amplifies sound, focuses light, and shrinks the distance between you and the runway to almost nothing. Every seat is the right seat.
Grand Rotunda
A 65-foot domed ceiling closes above you. The runway cuts through the center. VIP flanks both sides. Reserved fans out behind. GA fills the outer ring — still close, still fully sightlined.
Architecture
Beaux-Arts Neoclassical — gilded dome, marble floors, ornate column capitals. The kind of room that makes your phone come out the moment you walk in.
Lighting
Show lighting is handled by The Bureau’s production team. Theatrical-grade runway spotlights make every garment read sharply — saturated colors photograph exactly as they look in person.
Sound
Professional sound system installed for shows. Music fills the entire rotunda — you feel it as much as you hear it.

Dress Code & What to Wear
There is no formal dress code for The Bureau’s NYFW shows at Gotham Hall — but this is fashion week in New York, and the crowd will be dressed accordingly. Expect a range from sharp streetwear to cocktail attire. Most attendees arrive looking intentional about their outfit.
September Weather
Early September in NYC: 68–82°F days, 58–72°F evenings. Gotham Hall is fully climate-controlled. A light layer for the walk to the venue is advisable for later shows.
Footwear
GA ticket holders stand on a marble floor for 20–40 minutes per show. Stilettos are absolutely fine — but block heels, fashion boots, and sleek sneakers are equally common. Comfort matters.
Style Direction
Fashion-forward is the expectation but not a requirement. You’ll see archival couture next to graphic tees. The energy is expressive — wear what represents you. There are no wrong answers.
Photo Ops
Gotham Hall’s warm gold-lit rotunda is a backdrop unto itself. The interior lighting is dramatic and flattering — saturated colors and strong silhouettes photograph exceptionally well inside.

Herald Square puts you in the center of Midtown — which means everything from a $12 ramen bowl to a full sit-down dinner is within easy reach before or between shows.
Koreatown (32nd St)
The top pre-show dining district. 32nd Street between 5th and Broadway is lined with Korean BBQ, ramen, and late-night spots. Fast turnaround — perfect between shows.
Herald Square Quick Bites
Multiple cafés, grab-and-go spots, and fast-casual options on Broadway and 36th–38th Streets. Best if you’re short on time before a show.
Hell’s Kitchen
9th Avenue between 42nd and 50th Street is one of NYC’s best restaurant corridors. Every cuisine, every price point. Ideal for a proper sit-down before or after shows.
Bryant Park Area
6th Avenue around Bryant Park has full-service restaurants and lighter options. Good for a post-show dinner when Midtown foot traffic has eased.
